I pity those of u who are not living in Chennai....I pity those of my colleagues and friends who commute to office by car...
8.30 am .. Friday morning.. U start ur 12km ride towards office from home... Its cool and breezy... u remove ur helmet and njoy the air... zip past snail paced vehicles with the breeze blowing right on ur face cool.. . .this is called Joy..... but then as U enter the Cenotaph Road U encounter Heaven :))).. It starts pouring ....U put on ur helmet n jerkin.. But still get drenched... Ur jeans becomes wet....Ur jerkin is of no use.... As mom used to advise, U manage to just keep ur head and face dry... U see vehicles and people in front of not through tinted helmet visor.. But through droplets of water..... visibility comes down.... but still u ride through the rain drenched streets like a hawk.. :) Watch school kids covered in knee lenght rain coats holding their parent's hands waiting for the school van.... Bust stop shelters crowded like a Honkong shopping street... Traffic lights reflect off the water on the road... Serial set lighting for the tar topped roads... U even forget that you are going to office... Smiling inside ur helmet all throught the ride... without any reason. .without any worries... Just the thought of happiness and the inner voice which keeps repeating "Aaaahhh..... Wat a weather...I am luving it"..... this is called Joy 2.0 :)))
This is how I reached office today...... Happy, Joyous and Wet.... Life is indeed Beautifullllllll....
Intangible....
Feel it for urself..

Questions...
I feel so many things missing in life. I miss my school days. Miss my college mates. Miss all those days i spent learning and learning academically and made friends who left lasting impressions on me.I miss my room mates with whom I lived with while working in Chennai. I miss my first company, all my colleagues there.
I miss my friends from the B-School days at BIM. Every day I have so many things that I am missing. I miss so many people I would love to keep in touch regularly. Every time I meet them we talk about those days we miss and yearn even more for missing all that. This is 50% of my thoughts.
The other 50% is all about anxiety. Anxious about so many things. So many unanswered questions. as to how tomorrow will be. How the next week is gonna be, how my career is gonna progress, how my personal life is gonna be and etc etc.....
Overall if I sit down and take a moment to introspect, All that is running through my mind is questions and thoughts about my future and my past. This is what is happening for over 75% of my time. Leaving me just 25% of my time to live today.... Live this hour... Live this very moment...
So do I miss my past just because I lived my past for only a quarter of what should I have actually..??? Am I feeling anxious about the tomorrow just because I use only a quarter of my time for ensuring certainty in the future... ??
I don't know actually.. But one thing is for sure. From now on, I have decided to live the today and work for building a better tomorrow using the experience from the past. Advance New year wishes to all.. Happy 2010...

"M" Power
There are certain things that Money and Master card can't buy.... :-)

INDIA : The other perspective...
Jus four days away from Aug,15th...... India , A major player in the fields of ITES, BPO n KPO... Threshold of worlds largest Human capital... One of Worlds most respected countries.. one of the largest and most successfull democracies.. Home to diversity and culture.. and so on and so forth.... A very very drastic development in the past 50 plus years... we r fast reaching a situation which our ancestors dreamt of....
But on the other hand are we all doing justice to our roles as a part of this rich nation...???
Are we contributing in our own ways to this development is the million dollar question....?
Or are we just exploiting the boom for ourselves..and depriving our successors a better life, Wat about the other fields that we lag behind ?? .. Shouldnt we be thinking about this..
Its already late.. but not the end of the world.. we still hav our life time from now on to do something.... One of the best ways i think would be to help a poor child to get proper education.. a means for him to stand equal oppurtunities.. a means for him to rewrite his gene chain's fate... Why not we contribute alittle towards this ..
Today the problem is not of Unemplyment... it is the question of unemployability...If properly educated, the literate populatuion will grow and hence the employable workforce's ratio of the country.. This would rather contribute indirectly to the nations economy...Think today, Act today.. Put in your part.... Long live India.. Jai Hind..
